15 SEPTEMBER 2004

Royal Jordanian (RJ) will eliminate the stop at Bahrain (BAH) on their weekly Airbus 310 Delhi (DEL) to Amman (AMM) flight during parts of December and January and instead operate nonstop.

 


13 JANUARY 2003

Alaska Airlines (AS) will operate from Anchorage (ANC) to Adak (ADK) via King Salmon (AKN)

An SAS (SK) Dash 8 Q400 had to make an emergency landing in Stavanger.

Royal Jordanian (RJ) will upgrade Amman (AMM) to Detroit (DTW) service to an A340.

Korean Air will operate twice weekly nonstop from Pusan (PUS) to Xian (XIY).

Azteca (ZE) has inaugurated daily nonstops between Mexico City (MEX) and Ontario (ONT)

TAAG Angola Airways has suspended service to Lunda-Norte due to a ravine on the runway.

Horizon Air (QX) will upgrade their Kelowna service to a Dash 8 Q400.

Eindhoven airport was closed on January 1, forcing a Ryanair (FR) flight to divert to Rotterdam.

JAT Yugoslav Airlines (JU) will resume service between Belgrade (BEG) and Ljubljana (LJU) using ATR 72s

Air Algerie (AH) will discontinue service to Milan Malpensa (MXP)

 LAM Mozambique's (TM) frequent flyers can now earn Flamingo Club miles for flying South African Airways (SA)

PLUNA (PU) of Uruguay have taken delivery of their first Boeing 767-300


8 DECEMBER 2002

Air Macau will lease a 727 Freighter for services to Shenzhen and Taipei

Ethiopian Airlines (ET) has suspended service between Addis Ababa (ADD) and Tel Aviv (TLV)

Varmlandsflyg has changed its name to Swedline and added a B1900D to their fleet

American Airlines (AA) will combine their operations to Traverse City (TVC) and Marquette (MQT)


30 NOVEMBER 2002

Lauda Air (NG) will fly from Vienna (VIE) to Yangon (RGN) in Myanmar

Sakhalinsky Aviatrassy has taken delivery of their first Dash-8 turboprop to be based in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (UUS)

A Delta Air Lines (DL) flight from Cincinnati (CVG) to Phoenix (PHX) diverted to Tulsa (TUL) for fuel

Cabo Verde Airlines (VR) will run a weekly 757 service to Basle (BSL) from Ila Do Sal (SID)

Skywest (OO) increases frequency to Albuquerque (ABQ) from Salt Lake City (SLC) to 5 daily CRJs

Royal Tongan Airlines (WR) no longer plans to lease a 757 from Royal Brunei (BI)

Air Jamaica (JM) will launch service to Belize City (BZE) using A321s


20 NOVEMBER 2002

Mahan Air (W5) of Iran will double service between Teheran (THR) and Bahrain (BAH) to 4 weekly Tu-154s.

Delta Connection announces new service with CRJs between Cincinnati (CVG) and Moline, IL (MLI).

Korean Air (KE) and China Eastern (MU) will codeshare on the Gwangju (KWJ) - Pu Dong (PVG) route.

Qatar Airways (QR) will downgrade Hyderabad (HYD) service to an A320 on Fridays.
